Hey sellers…this is a fact. Buyers will pay more for a home that is prepared for sale. In our local market, they look at model homes and truly expect your home to look like a model. Most buyers don’t want to take on renovations, paint or make modifications. A smart seller does things to add value to their home which lessens the home’s time on the market.
Of course, spending money on your home may not be something you want to do but not making small upgrades can cost you more in the long run. These improvements don’t have to be over-the-top. Simple things like paint and sprucing up the landscaping can go a long way.
